The gameplay on Slingo Racing is set over a 5x5 grid format that contains a total of 25 random numbers ranging from 1 - 90. Below the reels is a 5-reel slot row that spins to reveal numbers and special symbols. As the numbers land on the reels, matching numbers in the row above on the grid are marked off. The idea behind the game is to mark off as many numbers as possible within this grid and complete lines vertically, horizontally, or diagonally across the grid (Slingos). As lines are filled, the player moves up the prize ladder. Possible payouts start at 1x the initial bet for 2 Slingos and increase to 500x the bet for a full house. Only the multiplier from the current level on the prize ladder is awarded at the end of the game.

The betting range in Slingo Racing is from £0.20 up to a maximum of £100.00. This initial bet buys ten spins, after which the player has the option to end the game or continue playing by purchasing spins individually, up to a total of 40. The cost of these spins increases dramatically the closer to a full house you get, so if you choose to continue playing, remember to keep an eye on your total bet, which can be seen at the bottom left corner of the screen.

Along with numbers landing on the reel below the grid, certain modifiers may also appear. These are;  

Wild: This will allow the player to cross off any number in the row above it 

Super Wild: Allows the player to cross off any number within the whole grid

Race Feature 

At the beginning of the game, players get to pick their silks – green, blue, or red. Numbers on the lower rolling reel can land with these colours. If a number matches the player’s chosen silk and marks off a grid number, their horse advances along the track. The track is marked off with initial bet multipliers, and the last one the horse passes before the game ends is added to any line wins.  

Green Horse: Up to 50 times the bet. 

Blue Horse: Up to 100 times the bet. 

Red Horse: Up to 500 times the bet.
