If for some reason you’ve managed to miss the feel-good news sweeping through our Heart Bingo community… allow us to roll out the red carpet, throw some virtual confetti, and introduce you all to our fantastic, brand-new ambassador for Heart Bingo: Anna Williamson!
This isn’t just an announcement, it’s the start of a partnership that we our excited to celebrate. Heart Bingo has always stood for fun and true community spirit, and Anna brings all of that with a bag of sparkle on top. From her uplifting personality and infectious energy to her genuine love for bringing people together, it comes as no surprise that we’ve already welcomed her with open arms.
But for those of you asking who is Anna, really? Buckle up, she’s got stories to share.
First thing’s first – Anna is buzzing about joining the Heart family. In her words, she’s determined to make everyone proud in this “HUGE role.” She’s long admired how bingo can bring people together, creating many a feel-good moments that can brighten up a cloudy day. It’s that sense of connection that’s made her so excited to take on this ambassador role. For Anna, it’s not just a gig — it’s a chance to help with something meaningful, something that brings people closer in a fun and enjoyable way.
Now, time for the juicy stuff. Did you know that teenage Anna was… wait for it… in a girl band!? Really, no jokes! Picture it: It’s the late 90s, Spice Girls mania is in full flow and four friends form a band called Blush. Anna happily admitted to us that it lasted around 18 months and was filled with mildly embarrassing but hilarious Baby-Spice inspired moments – and honestly, could she be any more relatable if she tried? This is the sort of cute-chaotic backstory we love to hear about.
And with music effectively being Anna’s emotional co-pilot, she’s shard her favourite feel-good track with us: ‘Rome wasn’t built in a day’ by Morcheeba. An iconic and timeless choice, and truly a perfect theme song for bingo nights, Mondays or just life in general.
On the subject of feel-good moments, Anna recently had what she called her ‘jackpot moment’ – without our beloved bingo balls but with the same full-house energy we enjoy. After a 6-month nightmare renovation, her family found themselves with no place to live … until, as if by fate, a house just three doors down suddenly became available. A quick request, a “no” that turned into a “yes” just four weeks later and a temporary home was sorted. Crisis averted, positive feelings restored and if that isn’t some bingo magic at work, we don’t know what is.
Now onto game nights, because Anna absolutely lives for them. From a cheeseboard to good tunes and great friends, she’s basically building a perfect bingo atmosphere. But who would her dream guests be? Apparently Pandora (her new podcast partner), Jamie, Amanda (for her brilliant laugh) and the legendary Miriam Margoyles. That’s a lineup that promises laughter, chaos, warmth and likely a few stories that we aren’t legally allowed to mention. To us – it sounds like the ultimate Heart Bingo night in!
