We can see individual reels randomly turn gold during an ordinary spin. We collect the progressive jackpot only when all five reels become Gold Reels in the same result. 

No meter or separate pick round accompanies the feature. We either get the required five reel transformation or we don’t, which gives the jackpot mechanic all the subtlety of a light switch in a planetarium.
