9 Masks of Fire mixes the look of an old-fashioned fruit machine with two features that work outside the usual payline rules.

Regular payline wins need to begin on reel one and continue through adjacent positions on the same line. Only the highest-paying combination on each individual payline counts.

The regular symbols resemble those found on a classic casino machine.

Cherries, BARs, bells and dollar signs make up part of the paytable. Single, double and triple 7s sit above them, while the blue Diamond acts as the Wild.

Diamond Wild

The blue Diamond can replace standard paying symbols when that substitution helps complete a line.

It cannot replace a golden Mask or a Free Spin symbol. The Wild can also form a paying combination using its own symbols.

Golden Mask

The golden Mask is a Scatter.

Three or more Masks anywhere on the 5x3 grid produce a Mask Pays prize. They do not need to sit on an active payline, appear on neighbouring reels or begin from the left.

When several Mask totals could theoretically apply, the game awards only the highest qualifying count. The Mask prize is then added to any regular line wins from the same spin.

Free Spin Symbol

The shield and crossed spears act as the Free Spin Scatter.

These symbols appear across reels two, three and four. Three in view activate the Free Spins Wheel and also produce their own Scatter result. The Wild cannot substitute for them.

How Any 7s Fire Pays Works

9 Masks of Fire does not always require identical 7 symbols along a payline.

Single 7, double 7 and triple 7 symbols can combine through the Any 7s Fire Pays rule. For example, a single 7 on the first reel, double 7 on the second and triple 7 on the third may count as a mixed 7 combination.

The exact payout depends on whether three, four or five qualifying 7 symbols continue along the line.

Identical 7 symbols can still carry their own higher paytable values. The Any 7s rule provides a separate result when the line contains a mixture of the three designs.

This mechanic works in the base game and during Free Spins. It does not mean that isolated 7 symbols pay from anywhere on the screen.

The Mask Pays Feature

Mask Pays is active on every spin.

Land at least three golden Masks anywhere on the grid and the game awards a fixed multiple of the total stake. More Masks lead to a higher position on the payout ladder.

Nine Masks produce the feature’s top prize of 2,000x the total bet.

Mask Pays remains active during Free Spins, but the Free Spins multiplier does not increase a Mask prize.

Three Free Spin symbols across the middle reels open the wheel.

One spin of the wheel selects both the number of Free Spins and the multiplier attached to them. The largest commonly published outcome is 30 spins with a 3x multiplier.

The multiplier applies to:

• Standard payline wins
• Any 7s line wins
• Free Spin Scatter wins

It does not apply to Mask Pays.

That distinction is important. A 3x wheel result does not turn the nine-Mask prize into 6,000x. The Masks continue using their normal scatter ladder while ordinary line and Free Spin Scatter results receive the wheel multiplier.

The stake remains the same as the paid spin that opened the feature.

Retriggering Free Spins

Three more Free Spin symbols during the bonus retrigger the feature.

The game does not spin the wheel again. Instead, it awards the same number of additional spins that the original wheel selected and keeps the same multiplier.

Suppose the wheel initially awarded 15 Free Spins at 2x. A retrigger would add another 15 spins and retain the 2x multiplier.

The official rules confirm that retriggers are possible but do not publish a maximum number. Avoid describing them as “unlimited” unless the current Heart Bingo help file explicitly uses that wording.

Landing nine golden Masks awards 2,000x the total stake through Mask Pays.

The page should describe this as the top Mask Pays prize, rather than definitively calling it the overall game maximum.

Official rules state that Mask prizes are added to regular line wins. This means a spin containing nine Masks could also include another qualifying result, depending on the symbol layout and game cap.
