Jewel Board 

The Jewel Board is where most of the game’s extra rewards come from. Random jewels appear above reels 2, 3 and 4, and the selection changes before every spin as new jewels drop into place. These can carry cash prizes, Bonus Spins or one of the fixed jackpots. Cash values range from 5x to 200x the total bet, while the Minor, Major and Grand jackpots are worth 25x, 100x and 2,000x respectively. The game saves a separate Jewel Board state for each available stake, although changing the bet after a board has been saved resets it to the default values.  

Butterfly and Congo Cash Symbols 

Butterfly symbols are only found on the first and fifth reels, while Congo Cash symbols appear on the three middle reels. Whenever both Butterfly symbols appear alongside one or more Congo Cash symbols, the jewel above each corresponding reel is collected. With several Congo Cash symbols capable of landing together, as many as three jewels may be collected in a single spin. 

Bonus Spins 

The Bonus Spins feature is unlocked through the Jewel Board instead of standard bonus symbols. Bonus Spins are unlocked by collecting the relevant jewels from the board. The values shown on those jewels are added together, resulting in an award of between 8 and 100 Bonus Spins. Once it begins, at least one Wild is guaranteed on the reel connected to the Bonus Spins jewel on every spin. The Jewel Board doesn't reset either, allowing us to keep collecting jewels and unlocking further rewards throughout the feature.  

Fixed Jackpots 

Three fixed jackpots are available through the Jewel Board. Collecting the relevant jewel awards the Minor Jackpot worth 25x the total bet, the Major Jackpot worth 100x the total bet, or the Grand Jackpot worth 2,000x the total bet. 

Congo Cash is played across five reels with 432 ways to win. Winning combinations are formed by matching symbols from left to right on adjacent reels, and when several winning ways involving the same symbol appear during a spin, every payout is added together. 

The gameplay rarely feels like it's focused only on the reels because the Jewel Board is constantly encouraging us to follow another objective at the same time. Wild symbols help complete regular wins by replacing every standard symbol except the Butterfly and Congo Cash symbols, while the collection feature continues into the Bonus Spins round, keeping the experience consistent from start to finish.
