Big Bass Splash brings the familiar Fisherman back with a few additions to his fishing kit, including dynamite, hooks and a rather unexpected bazooka. The Monster Truck gives the reels a different look, but the biggest changes happen around the bonus. Two Scatters can lead to another chance at triggering it, while random modifiers can alter the round before the first free spin begins.

There are five reels, three rows and ten fixed paylines. Big Bass Splash has a maximum win of 5,000x your total stake, although that ceiling is a possible outcome under the rules, rather than something to expect from a session.

Most ordinary symbols need at least three matches across neighbouring reels, beginning on the leftmost reel. The Monster Truck is the exception, with a payout available from two matching symbols.

Fish Scatter

The hooked bass is the Scatter symbol. It opens Free Spins when at least three appear together.

Scatters are counted anywhere on the grid. They do not need to follow one of the ten line paths or start on the first reel.

Money Fish

Money Fish have two roles. They can form ordinary paying combinations, and their displayed cash values can be collected during Free Spins.

Keep those awards separate. A Fish’s cash label is not automatically paid simply because it appears. Collection requires a Fisherman on the same feature spin.

Fisherman Wild

The Fisherman appears during Free Spins, substituting for ordinary paying symbols but not the Scatter.

He also collects every visible Money Fish value. If more than one Fisherman appears, each collects the group, and every Fisherman contributes to the feature’s progression count.

The Free Spins round is the main feature, but Splash adds several mechanics around it. Understanding when each one operates makes the bonus easier to follow.

Two-Scatter Nudge and Hook

Landing two Scatters can activate a random rescue feature. It does not guarantee another animation or a third Scatter.

Where the Scatters can move down one position without leaving the grid, a nudge can shift their reels while reels without Scatters spin again. Alternatively, a hook can pull a reel upwards to reveal another Scatter.

The important correction is that these are possible outcomes from two Scatters, rather than an automatic bonus trigger. 

Big Bass Splash Free Spins

Three, four or five Scatters award different starting allocations:

Before those spins begin, the game randomly selects between zero and five modifiers. Two rounds triggered by three Scatters can therefore start with different conditions.

The allocation uses the stake from the triggering spin. You do not choose a fresh stake for each spin inside the feature.

More Fish adds Money Fish to the feature’s reel strips. More Fishermen adds Fisherman Wilds.

These modifiers change what is available on the reels, but they do not guarantee a collection. Fish and a Fisherman still need to appear together for the tagged amounts to be caught.

More Dynamites, Hooks and Bazookas

This modifier increases the chance of the three helper events appearing during Free Spins.

Dynamite can bring Money Fish into view, while a hook can help reveal a Fisherman. A bazooka can change other symbols while leaving the Fisherman in place.

The animations are chance-based parts of the feature. Their presence does not mean every spin missing a collector or Fish will be rescued.

Start from Level 2

This modifier begins the feature at its second progression level, where the Money Fish collection multiplier is 2x.

It changes the starting position of the bonus. It does not guarantee that enough Fishermen will appear to reach the remaining levels.

Plus Two Spins

The +2 Spins modifier adds two spins to the opening allocation and another two to each subsequent retrigger.

With this modifier active, a three-Scatter start provides 12 spins instead of ten. A standard ten-spin retrigger also becomes 12. 

Fisherman Meter and Collection Multipliers

From the normal starting level, every fourth collected Fisherman unlocks another batch of spins:

The new batch follows the previous allocation. Its higher multiplier applies to those retriggered spins, rather than immediately changing the remaining spins in the earlier batch.

For a hypothetical example, Money Fish totalling £4 produce an £8 collection with one Fisherman during a 2x batch. That collection multiplier does not multiply every ordinary line award.

The feature allows three retriggers from its normal starting level, finishing its progression at 10x.

Big Bass Splash is a high-volatility slot. Returns can vary considerably, and a session can include substantial stretches without a feature or meaningful payout.
