The Cygnus 2 slot comes with a lot of similarities to the previous iteration. However, the pyramid setting has been swapped out for a modern observatory. At the top of the screen, players can see the Cygnus constellation in the sky, while a telescope and ornament occupy both sides of the board itself. The audio in Cygnus 2 has also changed, with the background music and sound effects both helping to create a somewhat mysterious atmosphere.  

Cygnus 2 comes with a board that features 6 reels or columns, with 4 symbols being added to each. This leads to 4,096 different paylines at the start of each spin. Now, due to the Avalanche feature, any matching combinations that are formed are removed from play and if this happens, existing symbols will drop into place using a Gravity mechanic. Afterwards, another row of icons will be added, up to a maximum of 8 rows in height. If the board reaches the maximum number of symbols (8 rows across 6 reels), a total of 262,144 will be active simultaneously.

Rising Multipliers  

Multipliers that appear feature the number 2, 3, 5, or 10 on them and when they make their way to the far left reel via the Avalanche mechanic, they turn wild and the displayed number is added to the win multiplier. This multiplier remains in place for the rest of the spin and is applied to all other matching combinations, if any.  

Furthermore, if the multiplier symbol lands on the very bottom of reels 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6, it will be removed from the board and added to the reel on the left.  

Free Spins  

Now, if a scatter icon makes its way to the first reel, the free spins bonus mode in Cygnus 2 will activate. Just like with multiplier symbols, if scatter icons land on the bottom row of reel 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6, they will be moved to the reel on the left, which can help them to end up on reel 1.  

Players start the round with a total of 7 free spins and any active multipliers are brought forward. Should extra scatter icons appear and travel to the first reel, another three spins will be added to the tally, too.
