There are two special symbols in Age of the Gods Mighty Midas, the first of which is a gemstone scatter icon, which can be responsible for triggering the main bonus mode. The other special icon is known as the 'Midas Golden Touch' symbol, shown as a hand pointing to the left.

Midas Touch

When the 'Midas Golden Touch' symbol appears, it points to the left, transforming the corresponding symbol into a Golden Wild. Any identical symbols on the same payline and to the left of the 'Midas Golden Touch' icon will also transform into a golden wild. Naturally, wilds can substitute for any standard or premium symbol as part of a matching combo.  

This can happen multiple times during the same spin and if a Golden Wild is selected to transform, it will gain a multiplier of 2x. For every additional time the Golden Wild is selected thereafter, the multiplier will increase by 1x.   

It's worth mentioning that the triggering symbol(s) will also collapse, causing a cascade sequence that allows a new icon to drop in from above. Additionally, 'Midas Golden Touch' symbols can only appear on reels 3, 4, and 5.  

Gem Features

Landing a gemstone scatter icon on reels 1 and 5 simultaneously will trigger one of five bonus features in Age of the Gods Mighty Midas. The scatter icon that appeared on reel 5 will spin to reveal a colour, which is linked to one of the following features:  

• Emerald - The scatter icon on reel 1 will show a fixed value, based on the stake size, while the scatter on reel 5 reveals a   
• Amber - This will activate five free spins where all instances of a randomly chosen icon will become wild during each spin. Each of these wilds can also come with a multiplier of 2x or 3x.  
• Ruby - The ruby segment will award seven free spins and when a Golden Wild is created with the 'Midas Touch' feature, all instances of the same symbol will also turn into wilds. If a multiplier wild is created, the tower on the right of the screen will collapse and leave one multiplier at the bottom. Should a 'Midas Touch' symbol point to a wild multiplier, the remaining multiplier of the tower will be added to the existing multiplier. The potential winnings for any combinations will then be multiplied and awarded.  
• Amethyst - This segment awards three free spins with all 'Midas Touch' icons being stacked 2 rows in height. Again, wilds can also come with multipliers of up to 3x.  
• Sapphire - Last up is the sapphire segment, which awards three free spins. On the first spin, 55 wilds are added as potential outcomes on reel 2. A total of 40 wilds are added to reel 3 before the second spin commences. On the final spin, 65 wilds will be added to reel 4.  
• Progressive Jackpots 

The infamous Age of the Gods progressive jackpot is also included in this release. It can trigger at random and if it does, players will be taken to a new screen that displays 12 golden coins. Players are prompted to pick one of these coins, each of which will display one of the progressive jackpots. When three of the same jackpots are found, the corresponding potential winnings will be awarded.
