Some games bury their prizes in temples or pirate caves. Reel Banks takes the more practical route and stores everything inside five very large bank counters. 

Pragmatic Play’s release uses a 5x4 grid with 25 paylines, Money Symbols and a Collect symbol that can award their values during the base game. Landing Money Symbols across all five reels opens nine bonus spins, where reel banks accumulate values and react to collection, multiplication and extra-spin symbols. 

Reel Banks takes place inside a grand financial institution that appears to have spent a considerable portion of its budget on pillars, chandeliers and doors large enough to inconvenience everyone carrying a normal-sized briefcase. Bundles of notes and stacks of gold sit around the room, leaving little doubt about the subject. 

The symbols continue the money-first approach. Gold bars, cash bundles, coin purses and red sevens fill the reels alongside colourful card suits and a sharply dressed banker character. Bright frames help separate the different symbol groups, while the reel bank counters become the visual focus during bonus spins. 

It isn’t an especially unusual setting, but the presentation keeps the feature information readable. That matters once five separate bank totals and several modifiers begin operating at the same time. 

Regular potential wins form with three or more matching symbols on an active payline. The banker and Wild sit at the top of the table, while the card suits occupy the lower-paying end. 

Special Symbols 

• Wild: The Wild appears on every reel and substitutes for regular paying symbols. It cannot replace Money or Collect symbols. Wilds also produce their own potential line payouts. 
• Money Symbol: Money Symbols carry random values of 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 8x, 10x, 12x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x, 250x or 500x the total bet. 
• Collect Symbol: The base-game Collect symbol appears only on reel 5. When it lands alongside one or more Money Symbols, their displayed values are added together and awarded. 

Money Collect Feature 

Money Symbols can appear across the first four reels during the base game, while the Collect symbol is restricted to reel 5. When both symbol types appear on the same spin, the Collect symbol awards the combined value of every visible Money Symbol. 

The feature doesn’t require a payline connection. A single Collect symbol is enough to gather all qualifying values currently in view. 

Reel Banks Bonus Spins 

Landing at least one Money Symbol on each of the five reels activates nine bonus spins. A separate reel bank is positioned above every reel when the round begins. 

The Money Symbols from the triggering spin establish the starting values of the five banks. Any new Money Symbol that appears during the feature adds its displayed amount to the bank directly above its reel. 

From there, several special symbols can collect, increase or multiply the accumulated totals. 

Reel Collect 

A Reel Collect symbol awards the full value stored in the bank above its position. The bank can continue receiving additional Money Symbol values during subsequent bonus spins. 

All Collect 

All Collect gathers the current totals from all five reel banks at once. This can become particularly important after multipliers or Add Money symbols have increased several banks. 

Add Money to All Banks 

This symbol carries a random value and adds that amount to every reel bank. Possible additions range from 1x to 500x the total bet. 

Because the same amount is applied five times, the symbol can significantly change the combined bank total before a collection takes place. 

Multiply Reel 

Multiply Reel applies a 2x, 3x, 4x or 5x multiplier to the bank directly above the symbol. Other reel banks remain unchanged. 

Multiply All Reels 

Rather than changing a single counter, Multiply All Reels applies a 2x, 3x, 4x or 5x multiplier to every active bank. 

This is one of the stronger modifiers in the feature, particularly when several banks have already accumulated substantial values. 

Add 3 Spins 

The Add 3 Spins symbol increases the remaining feature length by three bonus spins. Additional rounds provide more opportunities for Money Symbols, multipliers and collection symbols to appear. 

Reel Banks uses five reels, four rows and 25 fixed paylines. Potential wins begin on the leftmost reel and continue through matching symbols on adjacent reels. 

There are no cascades, expanding reel heights or cluster combinations. Among online slots, this is a fairly conventional line-pay structure until the Money Symbols begin feeding values into the feature system. 

Wilds can substitute for standard paying symbols across all five reels. Money Symbols operate separately from line payouts and become valuable when a Collect symbol appears or the reel bank feature is activated.

The five reel bank totals contain the most information during bonus spins, but their separate placement above each column helps keep the mobile display manageable.

Cash accumulation mechanics are hardly rare at popular online casinos, so the broad concept won’t catch many people off guard. The individual bank system does at least give Pragmatic Play room to mix single-reel and full-grid modifiers without turning the feature into a rulebook marathon. 

The base game is less distinctive. Outside the Money Collect feature, it behaves like a conventional 25-payline slot and can feel as though it’s waiting for the banking department to open. Once the feature begins, however, the counters, multipliers and collection symbols work together neatly enough to justify the financial paperwork.
