Zillard Wild 

First up is the Zillard wild, a symbol that always appears fully stacked on the reels when it lands. These icons can land exclusively on reels 2, 3, 4, or 5 and if one or more do, a multiplier of anywhere from 2x to 7x will be shown on it, which will be applied to the potential winnings before they're awarded to the player.  

Interestingly, if the Zillard Wild is not used as part of a matching combination for a specific spin it will lock onto the reels until a win occurs with it. The symbol will not also get destroyed as cascades occur but instead, the win multiplier will increase by 1x until all lives have been used.  

Zillard Evolution 

The Zillard Evolution feature revolves around a progress bar that has three stages, as shown by the locks on the sixth reel. When gold coins appear, they will be collected and after 30 have been accumulated, players will move on to the next stage:   

• Stage 1:  After completing the first stage, the Zillard Wild will gain another life point, meaning that it will stay on the reels for 1 spin longer following a matching combination being formed.  
• Stage 2: Adds 1 more life to the Zillard wild symbol.  
• Stage 3: Adds an extra life while also unlocking the sixth row, meaning that players have the potential to trigger the main bonus mode in Zillard King Megaways. Of course, this can also increase the number of paylines, while also allowing players to form combinations of 6 symbols.   

Once unlocked, the sixth reel will only display premium symbols or gold coins, with the latter also being removed from reels 1 to 5.

Thunder Wilds 

Should a spin occur with no matching combinations and a Zillard Wild be present on the reels, the Thunder Wilds may randomly activate. If it does, wild symbols can be added to various positions on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5, which can help players to form matching combinations.  

Free Spins 

Should a gold coin appear on the sixth reel when the Zillard Wild is also present, players will be awarded with a total of 4 free spins, alongside an extra spin for each life point that the Zillard Wild has when entering the round. The Zillard King Megaways comes with 5 reels (6 when stage 3 of the Zillard evolution has been complete), with anywhere from 2 to 7 rows being active on each reel. This means that a maximum of 117,649 paylines can be active per spin, all of which can be covered with the minimum stake size of 0.20.  

It's also worth mentioning that due to the Megaways mechanic, matching combinations that form will be removed from the board so that fresh icons can drop in from above to fill the space. This process continues until no more matching combinations appear, at which point the spin will be finalised.
