Mining and mayhem get to know each other in Slingo Mine Frenzy, where grid-matching is just the warm-up act for exploding dynamite, shiny gem collections and mysterious nuggets that may or may not lead to jackpots. The game follows the classic Slingo format but throws in a few heavy-duty extras once you get past the fifth Slingo. There is a whole lot of mountain going on in Slingo Mine Frenzy. The reels are inside a cartoon mine shaft, with lanterns, pulleys and the occasional stick of TNT littered around. A grizzled miner oversees the action in full character mode, shouting encouragement and reacting to potential wins.  

Just like with just about all online slots from Gaming Realms, you move up the payladder by completing Slingos. Here's what each symbol combination pays: 

Special Symbols 

• Wilds: These symbols allow you to mark off any number in the selected column. 
• Super Wilds: They let you mark off any number in the entire grid. 
• Free Spin Symbols: These symbols award one extra spin. 
• Blockers: These symbols do nothing except take up space. 

Silver Dynamite Bonus 

Triggered with 3 sticks of dynamite, this feature begins a sequence of explosions on the grid. Each explosion reveals cash or gem symbols, and all cash is added to the Total Win meter. If three matching gems are collected, the corresponding jackpot is awarded. The bonus ends once all dynamite is spent. 

Golden Dynamite Bonus 

Similar to the Silver version but with 4 sticks of dynamite, giving you one extra round of potential payouts and gem collections. The prize table remains the same, but with more explosions, the odds of hitting jackpots go up. 

Silver Nugget Bonus 

Triggered at 5 Slingos, this feature presents a series of nuggets. Each nugget hides either cash or a gem. As usual, cash goes into the Total Win meter and gems contribute to the jackpot table. The bonus ends when no further nuggets appear. 

Golden Nugget Bonus 

Unlocked at 6 Slingos, this is the same as the Silver Nugget bonus but presumably with better odds or higher payouts, as more Slingos were required to activate it. 

Slingo Mine Frenzy is played on a 5x5 grid, with a single reel underneath spinning five numbers at a time. You get 10 initial spins to match numbers on the reel to those on the grid. Every completed line of 5 numbers (vertical, horizontal or diagonal) counts as one Slingo. There are 12 possible Slingos in total. Landing special symbols like Wilds, Super Wilds or Free Spins can extend play.

It feels a bit more chaotic than some other Slingos from the colllections, but in a good way. Could it do with fewer blockers? Always. But it does enough to earn a spot in the regular Slingo rotation.
