Bubble Works takes us into a candy factory where apparently the bubbles have developed their own accounting department. Booming Games builds the action around a 5x3 grid with 20 fixed paylines, then adds a second 5 column Bubble Prize Shelf above the reels. Multiplier Bubbles move onto that shelf and remain across spins until Collectors gather them or newer Bubbles push them away. Free Spins add another shelf row, giving the sugary setup a surprisingly persistent mechanical core. 

Bubble Works goes all in on sweets, chewing gum and bright factory colours. The reels are filled with gummy bears, wrapped candies, lollipops and glossy card symbols, while pink Bubble symbols dominate the feature area above them. A separate Bubble Prize Shelf mirrors the five reel structure and keeps collected values visible between spins. 

Among online slots with candy themes, the artwork feels deliberately playful rather than elaborate. Strong pinks, blues, greens and oranges make each symbol easy to separate, while the bubble gum styling ties the base reels to the persistent shelf above. Animations mainly focus on Bubbles rising through their columns and Collectors gathering stored values. We don't get much subtlety, but subtlety would feel slightly misplaced in a factory apparently powered by bubble gum and gummy bears. 

The lower value symbols are 10 through A, followed by two simple candies. Wrapped sweets, gummy bears and the lollipop make up the higher end of the regular paytable.

• Bubble Pot Collector: This Collector appears only during Free Spins and gathers the stored Bubble Prize Pot value from the relevant row. 

Bubble Prize Shelf 

Every Bubble landing on the reels moves into the bottom position of the corresponding Bubble Prize Shelf column. Existing Bubbles in that column shift upward by one space, while any Bubble pushed beyond the top of the standard shelf disappears. 

The shelf uses 5 columns and 3 rows, matching the main reel layout, and stored values persist across base game spins. This persistence gives the Bubble system time to build before a Collector arrives. 

Collectors 

Four Collector types interact with the shelf in different ways. The standard Collector gathers the Bubble occupying the matching shelf position. Another version collects every Bubble from the corresponding column, while a stronger Collector gathers all visible Bubbles from the shelf. 

During Free Spins, a separate Bubble Pot Collector becomes available. This symbol interacts with stored Bubble Prize Pot values on the additional shelf row rather than working like the standard base game Collectors. 

Free Spins 

Three Scatters trigger 10 Free Spins, four trigger 15 and five trigger 20. The feature adds another row to the top of the Bubble Prize Shelf, changing what happens when existing Bubbles are pushed upward. 

Instead of simply disappearing when they leave the original shelf, pushed Bubbles move into the additional row and contribute their values to the stored multiplier. Bubble symbols during the feature may also contain an extra 2 Free Spins. 

The additional Bubble Pot Collector is active during this round and can collect the stored Bubble Prize Pot associated with its row. 

Bubble Prize Pots 

Some Bubble symbols contain one of four Bubble Prize Pots rather than a standard multiplier value. Mini, Minor, Major and Grand pots can become stored within the shelf system before the appropriate Collector gathers them. 

The persistent shelf makes these symbols different from ordinary instant prize symbols. Their position matters because new Bubbles continue pushing the column upward until a Collector arrives or the stored symbol leaves the active shelf area. 

Bubble Works uses 5 reels, 3 rows and 20 fixed paylines. Regular potential payouts require matching symbols to appear consecutively from left to right on an active payline. When several paylines produce results on the same spin, the individual line amounts are combined. 

The second half of the game works above those reels. The Bubble Prize Shelf also uses five columns, so every Bubble arriving from the main grid enters the corresponding shelf column. New arrivals push older values upward, creating a simple queue system that continues between spins. 

That persistent shelf is the main mechanical distinction. Regular line payouts resolve on the 5x3 grid, while Bubble storage and Collector symbols create a separate system that can develop over several rounds.

Bubble Works has a very simple reel game underneath, but the Bubble Prize Shelf gives us something more interesting to follow between spins. We like that stored values remain visible instead of disappearing after every round, since the shelf develops into a small ongoing puzzle of what might get collected and what might be pushed out. 

The Free Spins feature also changes the shelf rather than merely repeating the base mechanics with extra spins, which gives the bonus round a clear purpose. Visually, the candy theme isn't exactly unexplored territory, and we could probably survive without seeing another gummy bear for a while. Still, the Collector variations and persistent Bubble system give Bubble Works enough personality to separate the mechanics from the usual sugar coated crowd.
