Bloody Mary: Pray for Prey by Peter & Sons puts a demon-hunting nun at the centre of a gothic horror story. Golden keys unlock free spins, while glowing symbols turn highlighted positions into multiplier wilds. 

Among our slot games, its distinctive touch is what happens when wilds return to the same position: their multipliers grow, with progress lasting throughout the free spins round. 

The artwork mixes sinister characters with bold, hand-drawn shapes. A horned skull, snarling creatures and a hooded figure fill the higher-paying positions, while card suits glow against dark stones. Red magical circles and wild symbols stand out against the purple interface, giving the features a clear visual identity within the gothic setting.

Highlighted Positions and Multipliers 

Before each base-game spin, random positions receive starting levels of 1, 2 or 3. When activated, they become wilds carrying the corresponding multiplier. Creating another wild on the same highlighted position increases its level by +1. A wild created on an unhighlighted position highlights it at level 1. Positions and levels reset before the next base-game spin. 

Special Symbols 

A Special symbol activates every highlighted position, creates up to three additional wilds at random positions and turns itself wild. Multiple Special symbols can land together, resolving separately and potentially increasing multipliers by activating the same positions again. 

Super Special Symbols 

Super Special symbols also activate the highlighted positions, but can create up to eight wilds at random positions, including their own. They follow the same multiplier upgrade rules as regular Special symbols. 

Free Spins 

Three Golden Key scatters without a Red Key award seven free spins. Each extra triggering scatter adds one spin, and every scatter during the feature adds another. 

The round starts with fresh highlighted positions and levels, so base-game progress does not carry over. From then on, positions and levels remain between spins. Each new wild on an existing highlighted position increases its multiplier by +1. The feature cannot retrigger, although individual scatters extend it. 

Super Free Spins 

Three or more scatters including at least one Red Key award seven Super Free Spins. Additional triggering scatters each add one spin, while Red Keys during the feature award one more. 

This round also starts fresh, but highlighted positions begin at level 2. Repeated wild creation on the same position doubles its multiplier through 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x and beyond. Positions and levels persist throughout the feature.

The 5x5 grid uses 259 Connected Ways. Matching symbols must connect horizontally, vertically or diagonally without gaps, starting on the leftmost reel and extending across three, four or five consecutive reels. 

A connected group can branch into several paths, but only its highest-paying Connected Way is awarded. For players familiar with our casino games, this is the main rule to watch: matching symbols need a connected route across the grid. The win cap is 30,000x the bet.

We think Peter & Sons gives the wild mechanics enough variety to make each activation worth following. The distinction between adding one multiplier level and doubling it is especially clear across the two free spins modes. Connected Ways takes a little more attention than standard paylines, but the persistent positions give the bonus a straightforward focus.
