Throne of Elements: Platinum by Wazdan takes its elemental Guardians into a metallic space setting. Its 25 independent reel positions gradually open up, with sticky cash symbols building towards the Hold the Jackpot feature.
Among our slot games, this one takes a different approach to payouts. Matching ordinary symbols across lines gives way to collecting displayed prizes, activating columns and managing respins.
We see a blue and purple chamber framed by floating silver discs and stacks of metallic coins. The grid uses silver panels, while cash symbols appear as glowing circular tokens.
Elemental Guardian designs occupy the middle row, with the Extra Lives counter and four jackpot displays beside the reels. The presentation keeps the prize values prominent, which helps when several symbols remain locked in place.
Landing Hold the Jackpot on the central reel, or Guardians on all four other middle-row positions, activates the bonus. All 25 positions become available, symbols stick and three respins begin. Each new game symbol resets the counter to three.
The round ends when respins and Extra Lives run out, or every position fills. Held values are added together unless the Grand Jackpot is awarded.
Extra Life symbols appear on the central reel during base play, adding one life to the counter, up to three. These lives are used after the bonus respins finish. New symbols can land during them, but they do not reset the respin counter.
Cash Infinity symbols can land during the base game and remain locked until the bonus ends. Other positions continue spinning around them, carrying those displayed prizes into the feature.
A Mystery Cash symbol landing in a fully active column stays in place for 15 spins, with its countdown displayed above that column. When the counter reaches zero, it reveals a value of 1x–5x and pays alongside all other symbols in the same column, excluding Guardians.
Mystery Cash symbols cannot appear in the middle row or in a column that already contains one. If the bonus starts before a countdown finishes, the symbol and counter are temporarily removed, then restored afterwards so the countdown can continue.
Filling all 25 positions or landing the Grand Jackpot symbol awards 2,500x. This is the game’s maximum prize, so other held values are not added.
The 5×5 grid contains 25 independent reel positions and no conventional paylines. Twelve positions unlock progressively through Guardians appearing across the middle row.
We find the centre particularly important: it is the only position that can produce Hold the Jackpot and Extra Life symbols during base play. This gives the game a different rhythm from the line-based casino games in our catalogue.
We think Wazdan’s strongest idea here is making the grid itself part of the progression. Guardians, held cash symbols and column countdowns give the base game several things to follow.
The rules take more attention than a conventional line slot. Once familiar, though, the distinction between Cash Out, respins and Extra Lives becomes clear, making this a more involved collection game.
