Fishing releases rarely arrive without a bucketful of familiar ideas, but Fishin’ Frenzy Lure ’Em In has at least packed several different kinds of bait. Three coloured tackle boxes can modify the bonus round, bringing respins, Golden Fishermen and an unusually industrious can of worms into play.
Blueprint Gaming keeps the main format approachable, using five reels, three rows and ten paylines. Most of the heavier lifting happens during the bonus spins, where Fisherman symbols collect cash values and advance the Big Catch Trail.
Fishin’ Frenzy Lure ’Em In heads to a sunny stretch of coastline where pelicans, tackle boxes and cheerful fishermen share the reels. The graphics use Blueprint Gaming’s familiar cartoon style, with bright colours, broad character expressions and symbols that remain easy to distinguish on smaller screens.
The three tackle boxes give the display a little more identity than the average fishing release. Each uses a different colour and corresponds to its own enhancement, making it clear which mechanic has been added to the bonus round. The Golden Fisherman and animated can of worms are particularly difficult to overlook, although the latter looks far less pleased about its new career in cash collection.
Potential line wins are formed by landing matching symbols on consecutive reels, beginning with the leftmost reel. The values below are shown as multiples of the stake.
Three coloured tackle boxes are displayed during the base game. Landing a coloured Bonus Scatter adds it to the matching box, with each colour connected to a different bonus enhancement.
Three Bonus Scatters guarantee entry to the bonus round with at least one enhancement. Depending on the colours collected, the feature can begin with one, two or all three upgrades active.
The red tackle box also has a chance to improve its minimum collection multiplier when it receives another matching Scatter during the base game. Its value resets after the relevant bonus has been played.
Cast and Catch changes every Fisherman into a respin-triggering Wild. Whenever one lands, it and any Cash Prize Symbols remain fixed while the other reel positions spin again.
The respins continue for as long as another Fisherman or Cash Prize Symbol arrives. Once a respin produces neither type, the sequence ends and the game continues.
This enhancement creates one of the more recognisable mechanics found in collection-driven online slots, but tying it to every Fisherman can produce longer sequences than a single ordinary collection.
Golden Catch adds a Golden Fisherman alongside the standard Fisherman. When the Golden Fisherman lands, it collects the visible Cash Prize Symbols and applies the multiplier displayed by the red tackle box.
Possible starting multipliers include 2x, 3x, 4x and 5x. The accumulated red-box value determines which multiplier is active when the bonus begins, after which the box resets.
Regular Fishermen can still appear, so both ordinary and multiplied collections may occur within the same round.
Take the Bait adds the Can of Worms to the reels. When this symbol lands, it gathers the values of every other Cash Prize Symbol currently in view.
A Fisherman can then collect the accumulated Can of Worms value, effectively combining several fish prizes into one larger amount before the collection. One Can of Worms cannot collect the value of another.
It is a slightly ridiculous chain of events, but at least the worms are contributing rather than simply sitting in the tackle box looking alarmed.
The bonus round activates when three or more Bonus Scatter symbols land in view. The number of bonus games depends on how many Scatters appear:
The feature may also trigger randomly after one or two Bonus Scatter symbols land, in which case 10 bonus games are awarded. At least one Lure ’Em In enhancement will be active when the round begins.
During the bonus spins, every Fisherman landing alongside one or more Cash Prize Symbols collects their displayed values.
Several Fish Symbol tiers can appear. The standard blue fish carry values such as 2x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x and 50x. A golden fish can display larger values, including 20x, 50x, 100x and 1,000x.
The Golden Catch and Take the Bait enhancements can change how these values are processed before they are awarded.
Every Fisherman symbol that lands during the bonus advances the Big Catch Trail. Reaching its three milestones awards additional bonus games and upgrades the standard Cash Prize Symbol values:
Fishin’ Frenzy Lure ’Em In is played on five reels and three rows with ten fixed paylines. Matching symbols must land on adjacent reels from left to right, beginning on reel 1.
Regular combinations require at least three matching symbols, although the Fisherman and Pelican can pay from two matching symbols. The Fisherman becomes a Wild only during the bonus round, where it replaces all regular symbols except Bonus Scatters.
Cash Prize Fish have two functions. They can participate in regular payline combinations, and their displayed cash values become collectible whenever a Fisherman lands during the bonus spins.
Fishing mechanics appear throughout online casinos, although these three titles handle their collections and progression differently:
Three tackle boxes make Fishin’ Frenzy Lure ’Em In more flexible than its uncomplicated reel layout initially suggests. Cast and Catch provides the clearest change by turning Fishermen into respin triggers, while Golden Catch can strengthen collections without rewriting the whole feature. Take the Bait is the oddest of the three, yet watching a tin of worms gather fish values before a Fisherman gathers the tin has a certain convoluted charm.
The base game is less distinctive. Most of its purpose is to collect coloured Scatters and prepare the bonus, so long stretches without tackle-box movement can feel rather uneventful. Once two or three enhancements activate together, the round becomes noticeably busier and the different collection methods begin interacting.
We’d place it above a basic fishing reskin, largely because the tackle boxes produce meaningful changes rather than decorative variations. It is still very recognisable Blueprint territory, but there is enough additional bait on the hook to separate it from the plainest fisherman-and-cash-fish releases.
