Bushtucker Trials, Castle Coin Challenges and critters. Prepare to be entertained as I’m A Celebrity 2021 is here.
The show has given us some iconic TV moments over the years. From Joey Essex thinking he’d spotted a dragon to Paul Burrell’s ‘Hell Holes’ trial and those famous words “Gillian… it might be you”. And you can expect more celebrity mayhem when the newest series of the show airs.
But when does the new series start? And which celebs are swapping their home comforts for privy duty and a diet of rice and beans? Here’s what we know so far.
When is I’m A Celebrity 2021 on and how can I watch it?
The first episode of I’m A Celebrity 2021 will air on Sunday 21st November. The show usually runs for a couple of weeks, so expect to see the finale in early December.
You’ll be able to watch I’m A Celeb every night on ITV. And don’t worry if you miss an episode. You can catch up on all the trials and tribulations from the castle via their on-demand service, ITV Hub.
Where will I’m A Celebrity 2021 take place?
For the second year running, the show will take place at the stunning Gwrych Castle in Wales. That’s instead of the famous camp in the Australian jungle, which is still off limits due to travel restrictions.
The castle provides an entirely different challenge for the celebs. They’ll be tested by colder weather conditions and a range of new trials. That’s as well as completing Castle Coin Challenges to win prizes from Ye Olde Shoppe – but will Kiosk Cledwyn be back?

Who is presenting I’m A Celebrity 2021?
You’ll be delighted to hear that the nation’s favourite comedy duo, Ant and Dec, are back to present I’m A Celebrity in 2021. Dec will keep up his record of appearing in every series of the show, while it’ll be Ant’s 20th year hosting.
The Geordie pair featured in the fantastic first trailer for this year’s series dressed as knights and riding horseback through the Welsh countryside. The trailer suggested that the show will be “more gruelling than ever” this year – let’s hope so!
Who won I’m A Celebrity 2020?
Giovanna Fletcher charmed the nation in 2020 to become the 20th winner of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!. The ‘Happy Mum, Happy Baby’ host was crowned Queen of the Castle after putting herself through six trials during the series. These included the infamous ‘Celebrity Cyclone’ and ‘Frightening Feast’, where she had to eat dodgy delicacies such as a fermented duck egg, a cow’s nose and a fish eye.
Radio 1 DJ Jordan North finished as runner-up, while TV presenter Vernon Kay finished in third place.
