There are plenty of online casino games that revolve around the popular Who Wants To Be A Millionaire TV show, with this one featuring a live host. A large blue screen takes up most of the space in the background, with purple pillars also appearing on either side of the screen. The Millionaire Video Poker game uses a standard set of rules; however, it does feature a themed bonus mode that is discussed further down this page.
A standard deck of 52 playing cards is used in this release, which is shuffled comprehensively before the 10 separate cards are dealt. The minimum bet size sits at 0.10, with punters having the choice to play 5, 10, 25, 50, or 100 hands per round.
Millionaire Video Poker was created by Playtech, one of the leading companies in the realm of live casino game shows. They have a huge portfolio of successful titles to their name, including Mega Fire Blaze Lucky Ball, Age of the Gods Roulette Live, and Quantum Blackjack Plus, to name just a few. Playtech have also released a variety of online slots, too, with some of the most popular ones being Silent Samurai: Mega Cash Collect, Pyramid Linx, and Book of Kings.

Next, head to the live casino games page and search for 'Millionaire Video Poker'. Click on the game when it appears, and once it's loaded, select which of the five variations you'd like to play. Each variation uses a similar set of rules, with the main difference being the paytable associated with each, as explained in the section below.
From here, you can select your stake size and the number of hands you'd like to play in the upcoming round. A deck of 52 cards is then shuffled before the round commences and 5 cards are dealt face up on the board. Players can decide which of these they'd like to 'Hold' (or keep), while the others will be discord. A second batch of 5 cards will then be dealt and all discarded cards will be replaced by the ones that are now in view.
This will give players a complete five card hand, which can then be referenced against the paytable. For anyone who is playing more than one hand, the others will randomly be completed by RNG. Once any potential winnings are calculated and awarded, the game will restart from the betting phase.
Now, there are five different Poker variations to choose from in this release, all of which have a slightly different paytable, as shown below:

There is one bonus mode in Millionaire Video Poker, simply known as 'Millionaire Bonus Bet', which requires an extra wager from the player, should they wish to be eligible for it.
Once the round is finished, the cards are checked to see if any of the following combinations can be made:
If one of the above hands can be made, the bonus mode will start for all players who have an active bet on the corresponding segment. It's worth mentioning that the players don't have to hold this hand, it just needs to be possible from the 10 on the table.
Once the bonus round gets underway, players are taken to the 'Hot Seat' and just like in the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire show, they will be asked questions that have four possible answers. Upon selecting one of these answers, a multiplier or a cross will be revealed.
Selecting a multiplier will add that value to the potential winnings for the round, while picking a cross will end the round. Crosses come into play later during the round, after the low-level questions have been completed.
Another reference to the TV series is the three different lifelines that players are given at the start of the bonus round:
Last but not least, the different combinations that trigger the round come with different maximum potential winnings. These sit at 50x, 80x, 160x, 500x, and 2,000x for AKQJ, AKQQ, AKJJ, AAAQ, and AAK9, in that order.
